When it comes to being a fur mom, I'm always looking for ways to create wholesome, delicious dog treats that my pups can enjoy. I'm not a fan of mass-marketed pet products, because they're usually full of suspicious ingredients. These oatmeal, peanut butter and blueberry dog treats are all natural, gluten-free, and filled with delicious, safe ingredients for your pupper.
You can feel great about feeding these dog treats to your furry friends. Just be careful, they might stick to you like glue once they get a taste of these!
I've been a dog lover since the age of 6, when we got our first pet, Lucky the dog. He was a fluffy, white cottonball of a dog, a Bichon Frise. Very lively, he loved to stand on 2 legs and beg for food. He was also not a fan of anyone except the immediate family. He was known to bite anyone who came near us, he even bit my grandmother!
Next came along London, the Yorkshire Terrier. He's definitely a character, and somewhat neurotic (I blame myself for that, he takes after his fur mom). He loves to lounge on his pool float in the summer, and is deathly afraid of empty plastic bottles. He's about 10 years old now.
One year ago, the newest member of our family joined the club, Zoe, the miniature dachshund. Having never owned a dachshund, I really had no idea what I was signing up for. Dachshunds might be the only creatures on Earth more stubborn than I am. I'm convinced she's some sort of karmic revenge sent to me by the universe, meant to teach me the virtue of patience. I have a feeling my husband had something to do with ushering in this said karmic revenge.
