Starting this week with a sweet note with my favorite nutella!!Nutella is chocolaty spread made with hazlenuts and coco powder which feel so buttery and this is a kid friendly snack and i made this with tart dough for the outer crust.When i want to shop something chocolaty,my mind wants to finish that immediately,so bad na?counting on calories ,am stopping with dark chocolate iself:(But dark chocolate has its own benefits which is good for blood circulation even you can consume when you are feeling bad or sick.The chocolate is great stress buster and gives you a relief after a bite.After we shifted to Pune,i used to buy various chocolaty delights now and am finish off it within the weekend. Thats why am trying to control my lover chocolate and i strictly decided this is first and last buy on nutella too.When am in Amma's house ,Amma makes strict order on consuming chocolate,thats good na?but after came here because no one in house makes me to eat something.So i completely forgot my diet too.After two weeks ,i really missed my 1 hour walk and workouts.So i planned again my diet regime here and it is now ok for me.Raining outside really affects walking ,so i implemented indoor walking and workouts.What am saying these and all are because of sweet chocolate and it makes us too addict to it..mmm...:(
Coming to the recipe,i used the dough we are using for pie and tarts there and i used all purpose flour or maida for it.Just rest the dough for 30 minutes and roll out and spread the nutella and roll like crescents and deep fry in hot oil.Really this is kid friendly and also for adults.This is perfectly goes with a cup of chai or coffee.For this chill rainy season,here comes the yummy nutella rolls.Lets start making it....
Nutella Rolls(2 Persons)
Ingredients for making
- All purpose flour /maida - 1 cup
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Water - as needed for making a stiff dough
- Salt - a pinch
- Nutella spread - as needed
- Oil - for frying(unflavored oil)
How to make
- Take a wide mixing bowl with 1 cup all purpose flour and mix it well.
- Now add butter and make like crumble like texrure.
- Slowly add water and make a stiff dough from it.
- Rest the dough for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes,divide the dough into 2 halves and take one half into the counter.
- Roll the one half and cover the other half with kitchen towel to avoid drying on the top.
- Roll it to approximate thickness of your desire and make 4 parts as shown.
- Place half teaspoon of filling on each part.
- Spread gently with knife or spatula,leaving the corners.
- Fold like crescent shape and rest for 5 minutes.Seal the ends with little water and seal it tightly.
- Heat oil and deep fry the rolls in low flame.
- Serve immediately with a cup of coffee.
Tips
- Use simple dough without butter too.leave the butter and add a teaspoon of oil and proceed.
- Deep fry the rolls in low flame and make sure you seal the edges well and rolled correctly.
