“Nukes Are Not Safe” Under Shehbaz Sharif, Accusing Imran Khan. Mr. Army Reacts

Islamabad: Pakistani army on Thursday beat former Imran Prime Minister Khan raised doubts about the country’s ability to protect his nuclear assets.

During the roadshow in Peshawar on Wednesday, Khan who was overthrown after the movement was not confident about his government, questioning whether Pakistan’s nuclear weapons were safe in the hands of what he called “robbers” and “thieves”, referring to the newly elected Shehbaz Sarif regime.

In a burner speech on Wednesday night, Imran Khan said he wanted to ask for the establishment of the country if the ruling people as part of “conspiracy” could protect the country’s nuclear program.

Overcoming the country’s institution again, he said, “Don’t you put Pakistani security in the hands of this thief, don’t you fear God?”

Pakistani soldiers have expelled Khan’s charges.

“There is no such threat to our nuclear program and we should not bring it up in our political discussion,” said DG-Ispir, Gen Iftikhar.

“Our program is in such a place that our command and control mechanisms, asset security is one of the best in international evaluation,” he added.

Meanwhile, Imran Khan in a tweet on Thursday thanked everyone who attended his peshawar rally to “reject the change in the US initiated regime” in Pakistan.
