Former President and chief of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) General (R) Pervez Musharraf has admitted that the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) was his mistake but on oath claimed that no female students or girls were killed in the Lal Masjid operation in 2007.

While speaking to media persons on the sideline of his party meeting, Musharraf said that he was not involved in the murder of Baloch fundamentalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti but said when the people talk of cessation, then the state will come into action.

On the questioned when he will return to Pakistan, Mushrraf once again refused to give a final date but said he will be in his homeland before the general elections, expected to be held in May.

Former president said he is not feared from being arrested and will face all the cases against him and will not seek mercy from anyone.

Talking about his AMPL participation about in general elections, Mushraff said his party will partake in the election across the country.

Mushrraf said if government provides him the same level of security which he provided to former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was murdered after addressing to a mass rally in Rawalpindi in December 2007, he will be pleased.
