President Obama is one of the most moderate and centrist Democrats ever elected, and far to the right of Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, and Johnson -- and probably Carter and Clinton too. The GOP only wants Voter ID because they lost twice to an African-American, and now stand a very good chance of losing to a woman. The "good old days" of white male privilege are crumbling, and they just can't stand it.
