Spotted on my first time visit to the Yanks Air Museum. This Tiger II was given to the Museum by the Taiwan government in 2010. The Republic of China Air Force was the largest operator of the type at one time, having 336 F-5E/Fs in inventory. 308 F-5E’s were built in Taiwan under license by the AIDC (Aerospace Industrial Development Corp). The F-5E first flew in 1972, 1,400 Tiger IIs were built before production ended in 1987. Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
