Northern Versus Southern Neomongoloids

My name is Miguel asks:

Which is more phenotypically archaic? The Southern or the Northern Neomongoloids?

I do not think either of them are actually, but the Southerners transitioned over from Australoids later than the Northerners did. The Northerners transitioned over at 9,000 YBP, the Southern Chinese at ~4-5,000 YBP and the Vietnamese at 2,300 YBP. Some Viets might still have some residual Australoid features, but I suppose that is controversial and a matter of opinion. It seems to me that some Viets do have residual archaic features though.
