This was the second visit to the Wings over the Pacific airshow in Honolulu. While the displays of operational aircraft are very good, there is a noticeable lack of warbirds in the islands. First flown in 1935, over 15,000 of the venerable Texans were produced and they were still being built in Canada into the 1950’s. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm, processing with Photomatix Pro and Aperture.
