“Lady Alice” taxies by the fans during the 2019 Wings Over Camarillo airshow. This P-51 Mustang wears the colors of the 364th Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group. More than 8100 of the D-model were produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs built for the war. Approximately 300 survive today with 172 in airworthy condition. After World War II, the P-51 Mustang served in the air forces of over 55 countries.
