This P-51 “Primo Branco”, on static display, used to be a regular performer at the annual Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, piloted by the late Eddie Andreini.  One unique feature of this freshly restored Mustang is a custom smoke system for Eddie’s airshow performances. He chose the name Primo Branco which is Italian for “Prime Mustang”.   Delivered in 1944, this Mustang is one of more than 8100 D-models produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs built for the war.  Nikon D300 w/18-200mm.
