A Super Sabre photographed on a repeat visit to the Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum. Like many of the Century Series of fighters, the Super Sabre is a very cool looking plane and I am always pleased to have the opportunity to photograph one. The F-100 was the first Air Force fighter to exceed the speed of sound in level flight and was also used by the USAF Thunderbirds for 12 years.  This aircraft was delivered in 1957 and had a long career in European and Stateside units before seeing museum duty in Arkansas and coming here in 2016.    Fuji X-Pro2 w/18-135mm.
