Normand Park, London

By Davis Landscape Architecture @DavisLandArch

Normand Park is public park located in Fulham, London. It was originally created as a result of heavy bombing in the Second World War. It was recently revamped and open to the public in 2008. The latest interventions were designed by the landscape architectural practice Kinnear Landscape Architects. The local community was consulted the establish the positive an negative points of the former park and to establish their thoughts on how the park could be improved. The play areas were enlarged and improved, a community garden was introduced, additional avenues of trees were incorporated and the lighting was improved.
