Since 2016, WHO/Europe has encouraged regional non-State actors not already in official relations to apply to become accredited to participate in the meetings of the WHO Regional Committee for Europe. This participation mechanism further enhances the ability of non-Sate actors to engage in and strengthen the important work being undertaken in the WHO European Region.
