Whiskey drinkers know all too well that once a previously unknown whiskey gets some press and notoriety (or a celebrity endorsement!), the price goes up, up, UP!
It happened to Pappy Van Winkle.
It happened to the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
It's happening to Blanton's.
And so on, and so on...
Two weeks ago, the fine folks at Gear Patrol wrote an article about Noah's Mill Bourbon titled " A Mystery Bourbon Nobody Understands Is Your New Thanksgiving Date ". The MSRP of Noah's Mill Bourbon is around $50 to $60. If more articles like the one by Gear Patrol start popping up, we suspect that the price of this whiskey will go the Pappy/Buffalo Trace Antique Collection/Blanton's route. We've only ourselves to blame for this.
Before you click the play button on our review, here are a few words about this whiskey:
"One of the most lush and rich Whiskeys on the market. The nose is walnuts, prunes, and floral notes. The palate mimics the nose with walnuts, prunes, spices, intertwined with lavender and balanced with the perfect amount of acid, that leads you down a path of lingering burnt caramel."Tasting notes courtesy of:
