Story: No One Will Save You starts when small-town outsider Brynn (Dever) goes about her everyday life. She makes things for people while keeping herself to herself when she goes to town. However, one night, she finds herself getting an unwanted visitor in her home.
When Brynn looks to investigate, she discovers an alien in her home and decides she needs to escape whatever they want. However, she finds herself in a bigger battle and doesn’t have anyone or any way to get help.
Verdict on No One Will Save You
No One Will Save You is a sci-fi horror following an isolated young woman dealing with an invasion by aliens. However, once she starts fighting back, things start becoming more difficult for her. All the while she finds herself with nobody to turn to for help.
This movie has been getting a lot of buzz since its release and you can see why. The whole alien home invasion angle has been done plenty of times but often with the formula less is more. This decides to give us a more battle ‘Home Alone’ style against the aliens. However, it is the deeper side of the story that keeps things flowing. It makes us wonder what has happened to make Brynn such an outsider in the town, which leaves us more shocked by the truth. Kaitlyn Dever does give us a strong horror performance in a movie that doesn’t rely on only the scares to deliver us a horrific story.
Final Thoughts – No One Will Save You is a blend of Home Alone with aliens.
