THE SHOWS
I really wasn't in to watching the All Star Game last night. Started out with Pretty Woman. Hard to believe that movie is 26 years old. Still love it every single time I watch it. Pretty sure I know every single line. Always forget that Jason Alexander played Stuckey until I see him and the wife at the cocktail party. He was such a d*ck. Richard Gere and Julia were so PERFECT together. So many great scenes it's hard to choose a favorite. Of course we all enjoyed the shopping scene, the dinner scene, the opera, both bathtub scenes (yes there are 2) and of course the end. After the first hour or so, my husband and I jumped over to Deadliest Catch, one of the only shows we watch together. We both are STILL waiting for Sig's heart attack. Is it me or is this season going on forever? No heart attack, but we did have an injury. Captain Jonathan's son got smashed in the head with a pot door and had blood dripping down his face. He swore he was fine and could go right back to work. No bandaid, no stitches, no neosporin, just a hat. Not sure a hat will keep an open wound from becoming infected on a boat filled with dirty fish and dirty fisherman but for the sake of drama and money, the hat was all the kid needed. Over on the Brenna A, our favorite new fisherman, Sean, needed some motiviation to keep his crew going. Anyone who screwed up had to eat fish guts. NASTY! There was a scene where one guy froze another guys boots which just seemed completely scripted and made no sense. First time in a while where I was reminded that this show too has producers who need to make things interesting if they aren't. Now that I watch UnReal, I have a whole new perspective on all my reality shows. Doesn't mean I'm giving any of them up, just looking at them through a new lense.
THE OTHER STUFF
-Slow news day when all I got for ya is Marc Maron ending his own IFC show after this weeks Season Finale. New trend...nobody knows when the end of a show may come. LOVE IT!
Wednesday's Trivia Question: Heather Locklear has starred in quite a few Primetime Series. Name as many as you can
