Legend of Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned the idea that Nintendo has unannounced ideas for another 3DS game in the Legend of Zelda franchise. This was brought up at a shareholders meeting last month. Speaking with investors during a Q&A session, Miyamoto said that Nintendo is looking to “evolve the series” and reached the halfway point with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. While Nintendo continues to structure changes with Zelda on Wii U, Miyamoto said there are also secret ideas being generated for another entry series on the 3DS. "... We are gradually changing the structure of The Legend of Zelda series, and we are preparing to newly evolve the series for Wii U," said Miyamoto. "In addition to that, we have ideas for Nintendo 3DS which we have not announced yet, so I hope you will look forward to them."
Nintendo producer Eiji Aonuma has previously teased a Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remake on 3DS, but there was no mention of it at E3. Nintendo has been working on Hyrule Warriors and The Legend of Zelda Wii U.
