Nintendo announced the latest version of the DS dubbed the 3DS XL.
The 3DS XL is a bigger version of its predecessor, sporting just under 5 inches for the 3D top-screen and roughly 4 inches for the bottom touch-screen. The system has a better battery life, clocking between 3.5 to 6.5 hours while playing 3DS games and between 6 to 10 hours while playing regular DS games. The system also comes bundled with a 4GB SD card. AC adapters will not be included with purchase of the 3DS XL, however, adapters from previous Nintendo hardware will be compatible.
The 3DS XL will retail for US$199 and will hit shelves August 19th, 2012.
