We at Idlewild London really don't think an excuse is needed to slob around all day in pyjamas but for those folks who need one we don't believe there is a better one than this ......
THERE is a perfect excuse for spending a whole day in pyjamas next month with the return of PJ Day for St Richard’s Hospice.
Businesses, schools and nurseries have all backed the cause in previous years, helping to raise over £24,000 to aid the charity’s work caring for those with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.
St Richard's Hospice senior community fundraiser, Alison Parkes, said: “It's very simple. On Friday, March 4 we are asking everyone who can do so to wear their pyjamas and make a donation to St Richard's.
“Why not host a PJ party at your home or a cosy coffee morning in your dressing gowns? Or sponsor a colleague to walk to work in their PJs? Alternatively, you can wear your dressing gown over your normal clothes or at the very least don your slippers! It's a great way to have fun and raise cash for St Richard's at the same time. “ Those who don’t want to be seen out and about in their bedwear can post a profile picture of themselves in their PJs to facebook.com/strichards and then to donate £1.50 by texting Hospice to 70444.
