Once the South Korean company announced the launch of the next best thing, Samsung Galaxy S5, the speculations about the crisis in the company started to circulate the internet. However, Samsung CEO J.K. Shin claims otherwise.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Sales To Reach Over 50 Million

Recently, Samsung Mobile’s chief J.K. Shin has denied rumors dealing the poor sales of their current flagship, Galaxy S4, claiming they have sold more than 40 million units of Samsung Galaxy S4 so far. Only a month after its release, 10 million S4 units were sold, and this figure has doubled the following month. Comparing these sales figures with those of its predecessor, Galaxy S3, we have to say it still holds the record of the best-selling smartphone device, having 30 million units sold in its launch year, 2012.  Samsung predicts that the S4 sales will pass the figure of 50 million by the end of the year, by putting their hopes in the following holiday shopping season.

If we take a look at the statistics from the latest report, Samsung Galaxy S4 sales are still looking strong and the numbers do not apply on the Galaxy device variants, such as Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini or Galaxy S4 Zoom. In addition, the company has also introduced a free replacement program for all the customers having problems with Galaxy S4 in order to prevent these problems from happening with the future models.
