New Words…

Little Miss A has had a couple of words in her repertoire for a while now; Mummy, Daddy and a few noises that were beginning to sound like the start of words.  I remember Little Mr A was a lot more talkative at her age, however, she has been concentrating so much on walking, running and climbing that talking has taken a back seat; until now!

Over the past couple of weeks Little Miss A has learnt quite a few words!  We now get wee wee and poo when we change her nappy, balloon, ball and doggy (shouted numerous times on the school run!).

More importantly, over the weekend she has started trying to say Little Mr A’s name.  She can’t quite manage it but we get a lovely loud ‘Eeeeeeeeee’ whenever he walks into the room and, when it is getting to the time to pick him up from school she starts saying it too!  The excitement in her voice when we go to pick him up is so lovely.  She screams ‘Eeeeeeeee’ at the top of her voice when he appears out the door; it makes my heart melt!

To anyone else it may just sound like noise, however, we know exactly what she is trying to say!

At just over a week to go before her first birthday I am so proud with how much she seems to have come on over the last few weeks.  I can’t wait to see what her next new word will be!
