Through this new feature, users will be able to lock their private chats using a password. Along with this, users will get the facility to save private chats in a separate folder to keep them secure. The company believes that the chat lock feature will keep the user’s chat secure and no one will be able to read the locked chats.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that through the Chat Lock feature, users can use a password to lock their private chats. Users can save chat in a separate folder to hide it. At the same time, this feature also hides the user name when the message comes in the locked chat.
