New Plane In Works Could Give You Thrilling Ride To Boring Destinations

By Nottheworstnews @NotTheWorstNews

Yahoo reports that a new supersonic plane being developed by Boeing and other companies could travel 2,500 miles per hour, almost twice as fast as the Concorde.

This could get you from London, England to Sydney, Australia in about four hours, more than enough time to watch Crocodile Dundee 1 and 2!

3 Questions That Arise From This Story

1. Does anyone really need to get to the Sydney Opera House that fast? (The correct answer is not Keanu Reeves, because we do not want to see a sequel to Speed 2: Cruise Control.)

2. If an opera cast screams like amusement park-riders, on a plane as it travels 2,500 miles per hour, would people just assume the screams were part of a free first class, in-flight opera performance, negating any reason to go see the Opera House when they arrive in Sydney?

3. If an opera cast screams as it travels at 2,500 miles per hour to Sydney, faster than the speed of sound, won’t that really just leave the screams in London, making the people on the ground there think they got a free opera show, and have no reason to buy a plane ticket all the way to Sydney? Think about the impact of things on your economy, Sydney!
