On April 4 I hung my second show the Louisiana Pizza Kitchen Uptown at 615 Carrolton Ave. (504) 866-5900. It is all new work from the last show. There are 42 paintings. Themes include fresh produce, Mardi Gras, musicians, Mardi gras Indians, and other New Orleans scenes. The Louisiana Pizza Kitchen is located at 615 Carrolton Ave. (504) 866-5900. The hours are Sunday - Thursday 11am - 9:30pm and an extra half hour later on Friday and Saturday. The current ownership of the Uptown location has been in place for over 14 years. Rob, the owner, does much of the cooking himself. It was one of the first restaurants to reopen after Hurricane Katrina. Even though its known for its gourmet, wood-fired pizzas, they are also many tasty pasta dishes, savory salads and delicious wraps. I especially like their pastas and have sampled a large number of them.
You can currently see my paintings for sale at four other locations in New Orleans. One is Willie Mae’s Uptown. It is located at 7457 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, 504-417-5424.
