The Government of Jharkhand has approved the much-awaited new logo and has released it at the Jharkhand Council of Minister's meeting on Wednesday, July 22.
The new logo has the national emblem of the Republic of India in the center surrounded by Elephants, the state animal, Palash, the state flower, Sohrai tribal arts, the state art, and the green color symbolizing the forests and the forest resources of the state. The new logo speaks volumes about the culture, tradition, and history of Jharkhand.
According to a senior state government official, the logo has been released only in the media at the moment. He also stated that it should not be considered as final and that necessary rectification will be done if required.
It will be duly launched on 15 August.
