Schmidt: You haven't gotten that much better. I used to listen to you and Caroline all the time when we were in college. It was like listening to a rescue crew trying to communicate with a stranded minor. "Are you ok? Yea. Are you ok? Yea".
The Douche Factor: I saw your registry. I'm gonna get you one of those portable baby pumps. You're just out there in every day life, but you're pumping yourself at the same time, you know. Just milking away. Just...
But other than Jess, we had the opportunity of checking out some of the other characters as well, mostly Schmidt, and now it's clear to me where his being so in touch with his feminine side comes from. Guess what? Schmidt is the only guy working in an all-female office! Maybe for the first time, I actually rooted for him, seeing how the women there treated him to the point of timing out his bathroom breaks, and he rocked that party so hard!
As for Nick's refusal to get his hair cut at a barber's shop, I can only say one thing: dude, I get it! I hate other people's fingers in my hair too! Which is why I cut it myself, so I can give him lessons if he wants me to.
Let's go through the highlights: Jess encouraging herself to go and have sex, finding the porn on Schmidt's computer, her dirty talk, dismissing Nick's opinions because of his new haircut (which made him look like Marky Mark or some other 90's white rapper, especially with his shirt tugged into his pants). The guys' fight over who was the best in bed (and I'm betting on Winston, too) and Schmidt's hilarious account of how things were between Nick and Caroline. Every scene with Jess and Paul. The starfish. Nick's reaction to Jess and Paul stumbling into the apartment (didn't he look just like a grandpa waiting for his granddaughter to come home from a date?). And the fact that they finally gave us some more locations other than the apartment and the bar! Big kudos for that!
Let's not forget Eva Amurri's guest role as Schmidt's nemesis, I hope we'll get to see her again in the future.
I want more, more, more of this hilarious stuff! Everything was just perfect in this week's episode!New Girl 1x07: Bells Back to Season 1
