Nepali Curried Spinach (Saag)

This is probably the simplest recipe. Sauteed spinach with garlic cloves and curry powder.

Recipe adapted from Zach's Travel Musings, here: Ingredients: Spinach - 4~5 cups, chopped Garlic - 3 cloves, minced Turmeric - ¼tsp Curry powder - ½tsp Salt & Pepper - to taste
Method:
  • Heat 2tsp oil in a saute pan. Add cumin seeds and once they start to splutter, add the chopped spinach, turmeric, curry powder, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and cook covered until the greens are tender.
