Neiman Marcus Trend Event Recap

Last month, I was HONORED to co-host The Fall Trend Event with Lauren at Neiman Marcus in Fort Worth!! We style chatted with the fab Allie Kobs about handbag, shoes {seriously my faves}, and the upcoming Fall 2014 Trends!!

One of my favorite questions was “What pair of shoes and handbag would you bring if you were on a deserted island?”

I thought my answer was #genius because my shoe choices were the Chanel camellia jelly flip-flop or Valentino bow sandal and my handbag choice was the Balenciaga backpack.

I mean, why can’t you be fashionable AND functional at the same time?!?!

A gorgeous green candy bar echoed Neiman’s green trend. Everything they do is lovely!! We jammed to beats of DJ Sober and enjoyed frozen treats from Steel City Pops!!

My favorite trend was GREY, and I styled my mannequin in various shades of that gorgeous rich color. The python print dress is a combo of black and white = gray right?! And that Lafayette 148 leather jacket is just so beautiful. Lace up heels/booties have been on trend for awhile and I LOVE those gray suede Joie cage booties. The I HAD to add a pop of color, so naturally, a GREEN necklace and this Nancy Gonzales Croc bucket bag {it’s like butta} were my choices.

You’ll also see that it was a cinch to pick my faves for the trend table. Can you put the whole store on it?! Saint Laurent was KILLING it with the boots this season. Um… Who DOESN’T need a pair of gold western boots?! Those ombre gold to blue suede Choos are a piece of work! #GetInMyCloset And still obsessed with all the fringe for the Global Chic trend… I WANT those Prada fringe sandals!
