This Nectar AI review will discuss all the features and flaws of Nectar AI. If you need an AI bot to talk to, or to generate AI images, Nectar AI may be worth your time.
I’ve personally used the AI and this review is based on my personal experience. The goal is not to get you to buy Nectar AI, it has a free forever plan anyway. The goal is to share every possible detail about Nectar AI with you so you can decide if it’s the right platform for you.
Let’s get started.
What is Nectar AI?
Nectar AI is a platform that you can use to create and talk to AI characters. It can also generate both images and videos using text prompts. These generated images can then be used as companions if you want to.
It’s mostly focused around NSFW/adult characters but it’s possible to create family-friendly characters as well.
You can have a virtual girlfriend or a super smart assistant (it’s AI,). You can also use characters created by others.
It also has a “fantasy” feature which lets you experience some of the most common fantasies humans have.
Let’s discuss what’s possible or not possible with Nectar AI in detail.
User-Interface
The user-interface is one of the most important aspects of any platform or tool. Even more than the features. I say that because if the UI isn’t easy to use or understand, no one will reach or be able to use the features.
When you first land on the website, you’ll see a left-sidebar and the centre-screen. The left-sidebar will have all the primary features and important links. The centre-screen too lets you choose the feature you’d like to use.
More of the UI will be revealed as we access the different features and sections on the website throughout this Nectar AI review.
I’m sure the UI so far needs no explanation and can be understood even by the most basic of users. I did however notice a slight lag between a click and it getting registered on the website.
My verdict: The UI has no learning-curve and users need no previous skills or expertise to use Nectar AI. There’s a slight click-lag but it’s not worth reducing points for so I’d rate the UI 5/5.
7 AI Character models
This is one of the primary features that Nectar AI offers. Nectar AI is capable of generating AI characters from text prompts.
We start with selecting the model This is the most important feature which decides the overall genre of the generated character. These models are available for now:
- Nectar realistic model: It generates real, life-like images that look like real human beings. These can be used for almost any purpose which requires you to hire a real-life model. Yes, even promoting and marketing your products.
- Hentai Model: These are Anime characters but generally extremely sexual and used for creating anime comic books.
- 2.5D models: These are models that look real but not entirely.
- Ultimate Asian model: These are models that look realistic and have Asian features. Uses include promoting products in the Asian markets or catering to specific fantasies.
- Ultimate Hentai and realistic models: These are upgraded, more advanced versions of the respective models.
My verdict: That’s a lot of diversity. Sure a few more models could be added but I’m sure 7 works too. I’ll rate it 4/5 simply because some improvements can be made here.
Nectar AI understands advanced prompts
I personally loved its prompting feature and its “suggestions”. So, you can type your own prompts (of course). But, not all of us have an idea of what to include or omit.
Nectar AI has these very specific prompts that add scenes, facial features, outfits to your character. You can simply click the keyword you wish to add to your prompt.
In fact, with 0 manual input you can simply choose a few of these keywords and generate your character.
Don’t like the provided keywords? You can even generate new ideas to help your prompt!
Then there’s ICKS. It’s basically like the negative prompts. You can add what you don’t like here and those elements will not be included in your photo.
My verdict: Every text to image/video AI accepts prompts but Nectar AI’s keyword suggestions are what make it unique. Plus there’s negative prompting. Clearly a 5/5.
Advanced customization options
Prompts are just one part of the Nectar AI equation. It offers many other customization features that help you get that perfect character you need.
- Resolution: You can choose to generate your image in a much higher resolution than what’s generated by default.
- Dimensions: You can choose multiple dimensions for your image. This helps if you’ve got a specific format or size requirement.
- Randomize image: This is a pretty rare feature for most AI even today. By disabling this, you can get similar images as your last generation. The new images aren’t entirely new but retain some features and aspects of your last character. If you’re creating an AI model or influencer, this is almost a must-have feature.
- Customizations: This is the most advanced feature which shows you sample thumbnails for different faces, outfits, poses, effects, etc. You can then choose from those that you wish to apply to your image.
Nectar AI is also capable of generating videos. Almost the same features and options are available for generating videos as well.
My verdict: These are more options than most other AI image generators offer. Although, the one option it’s missing is “multiple image generation”. If it could generate multiple images simultaneously I’d have rated it more, for now, it’s 4/5.
Mostly NSFW but can generate family-friendly content
Nectar AI isn’t “exclusively” for NSFW content. Yes, most of the content is NSFW, that’s its priority and primary focus but that’s not the only possibility.
To prove it to you, I entered the following prompt- “Girl driving a car” and in the ICKS box (negative prompt) I entered “nudity”.

My verdict: I’ll rate it 5/5 because Nectar AI offers me options and isn’t forcing one type of content on me.
Roleplay (AI Bots)
This is the second most important feature Nectar AI is famous for. You can choose a bot, and roleplay (talk to them). If you don’t like any of the official bots, you can also create your own.
You can choose from dozens of types of models such as Hentai, realistic and so on.
There are a few rare and impressive features I like about the Roleplay bots:
- Action recognition: You can “quote” your actions and the bots recognize and respond to them accordingly. E.g. if you type “sits down” or “walking towards you”, within the quotes, it’s considered an action and not a dialog.
- Backstory and photos: Each bot has a list of hobbies, body type, age, personality and backstory. This lets you choose the kind of person you want to talk to. You can even explore their “photos” from their profiles.
- Request photos: This is one of the most unique features allowing you to ask for selfies or other photos. You can either type “send me a photo….” or click the in-built option for the action.
- Edit previous messages: I’ve used multiple AI chatbots and none have offered an edit feature. Nectar AI does. You can edit your last message and it changes the bot’s response. The current response (for the original message) gets deleted and a new response suitable for your edited version is generated.
- Regenerate responses: If you don’t like a response, you can ask the AI to regenerate its last response. I noticed the new responses are very different from the original responses. This may be Nectar’s algorithm trying to actually make the response new instead of simply rephrasing the old sentences.
My verdict: Depending on the speed, context recognition and overall response I’ll rate this feature 5/5.
Fantasies
We’ve all got sexual fantasies and Nectar AI is one of the only possible ways using which all of these can be fulfilled.
So, there are multiple fantasies you can pick from. Some of these are:
- Late payment.
- Teacher’s pet
- Hotel receptionist
- Catholic girl and so on.
Fantasies generally include a short scenario-brief. You’re told what’s happening and then you can start chatting.
For this Nectar AI review, I tried confusing the AI. Even though it was a “teacher’s pet” fantasy, I straightaway asked the character to leave the school and get in my car.
You’ll notice how the AI always tries to steer the conversation towards the original fantasy in one way or the other.
This proves that the Fantasies aren’t the exact same thing as simply roleplaying with the bot and that they actually play an important role in the overall conversation.
My verdict: The fantasies always keep the central fantasy theme in the conversation. No reason to reduce ratings so it’s a 5/5.
Creating your own characters
Nectar AI lets us create our own characters. The official options are not the only options.
You can start with:
- Either a realistic or an anime character.
- Ethnicity: You can choose from Japanese, Korean, Indian, White, Hispanic, etc.
- Eye color: Blue, brown, green. Hazel.
- Hair color: Black, Blonde, Silver, Red, Blue, etc.
- Hair length: Short, Pixie, Medium, Long.
- Specific hairstyles: Wavy, Ponytail, Bangs, Bun, Curly.
- Body type: Petite, slim, athletic, curvy, BBW.
- Age: This can’t be below 18 (obviously) or more than 99 (do you seriously want that?)
Then you can fill in the name, personality, physical traits, etc. Once this is done it takes about 30 seconds for the character to be live.
You can also use a photo to create your character. Although, you can only use those characters which:
- Are in the Nectar AI gallery
- You’ve liked in the gallery
- Or You have a direct Nectar AI link for.
My verdict: The customization options are more than enough. You can craft your character down to the minutest detail. It does not allow us to upload custom photos. But, we will excuse it as this is desirable from a legal and privacy perspective. Definitely a 5/5 feature.
Gallery
The gallery is where you can access characters generated by others. It’s like a social hub and has a few features.
- You can like characters made by others.
- Copy prompts and ICKS used by the creator.
- Download and share the character.
- And even “Create companions” using the same character.
- You can also make your own characters public for the gallery.
Nectar AI pricing plans
Nectar AI has 4 paid plans:
- Free: Despite being free, the plan offers 10 generations/day, 4 customizations, 15 messages/day, 1 photo message, 1 custom girl.
- Premium: $4.99/month
- Pro: $9.99/month
- Ultimate: $14.99/month.
My verdict: The free plan is definitely enough to test the waters. The paid plan starts at a low $4.99/month which is a decent entry point. 5/5 for the pricing.
Nectar AI review final verdict
What’s my final verdict on the tool then? I’ll say it’s one of the more impressive and advanced NSFW AI chatbots and generators out there.
I’ve used its image generator which was impressive. The roleplay and fantasy features didn’t leave much room to complain about either.
The responses were fast, always in context, and human-like. You wouldn’t feel like you’re talking to a bot. In fact, it’s possible you may get addicted if you keep doing it for a longer duration.
Overall, I’ll sign off this Nectar AI review with a 4/5 rating. It can include many other things. But I’m rating it on what’s available and how the available features function.
