Even though Matt’s lawyers argued that the ex host had a year left on his $20 million a year contract, the network ruled on Friday that he won’t get paid passed his last day worked.
Reason: Because he was terminated “for cause”

According to multiple reports, Annette Roque was last seen at the couple’s home on Wednesday. She is believed to have taken their youngest two children and left the country.
She and Lauer have three children, Romy, 14, son Thijs, 11, and oldest son Jack, who is at a prep school outside Manhattan. Jack is the son Matt had to tell in person why his daddy got fired.
