Gorgeous couple Natalie & Josh first met in a bar. He cracked a joke… she thought he was a dick (her words not mine!) Funny how many relationships start out this way! (mine included) They married at the family bach on magical Lake Rotoiti and I’m not even sure I can find the words to describe this wedding or how lucky I feel for being able to share it with you. It is truly amazing.
Oh and that dress… WOW.
The whole day was captured by one of my favorite photographers Greta Kenyon. Without sounding like a total stalker, Greta is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she is also extremely kind, understanding and pleasure to work with, making her a pretty damn great person to hang out with on your big day!

Hi, I’m Greta, that’s me in the middle with my husband Charlie and next to us are our two little boys Sol & Marlo and our wonder dog Hunter (she is a girl by the way). If I am not behind my camera or computer you will most likely find me at the beach with my family or at various food markets buying and eating fresh local produce (or photographing it).
I am addicted to buying design and cook books, I spend far too much time on Instagram, I love cooking and eating out and if I don’t get to leave the country and explore at least one time a year I can go a little crazy.I adore shooting “real-life” and working in the beauty and unpredictability of natural light. I love hunting out simple moments, details, colours, tones and textures. It is these unassuming elements which often hold the most beauty and interest. I am based in Auckland and I work as a freelance photographer on a variety of projects including editorial, book projects, food photography, a limited number of creative weddings, fashion and lifestyle photography.
