Natalie Evans – ‘New Year’

Following support from 6Music, countless positive reviews and live sessions for BBC Introducing as well as faultless appearances at many gigs and festivals, Natalie Evans kicks off 2019 with the release of the aptly titled ‘New Year‘.

A highlight of Natalie’s debut album ‘Better at Night’, the reflective piece was inspired by night-time walks around Brighton beach and its final verse was written after a New Year’s party, capturing that feeling of ‘moving forward while still feeling nostalgic’ that comes around during any major life change. It’s delicately balanced and subtly weaves classical influences with sharp and intelligent piano and guitar.

The single also includes a remix by Yumi and the Weather.
