The Nationwide Meeting has transmitted the Electoral Act (Modification) Invoice to the President for assent.
The invoice was transmitted on Monday January 31 to President Muhammadu Buhari for assent by the Clerk to the Nationwide Meeting, Arch. Olatunde Amos Ojo, a supply instructed The Nation.
It's nevertheless unsure if the President would assent to the reworked Invoice.
That is coming amid report of Governors not being proud of the brand new amends, and planning to prevail on the President to not signal it.
