NaPoWriMo 2020 – Sedoka 2

Of all the beautiful places I have visited, Lake Louise remains one of the most special.

Yes, it is always full of tourists who do not care about ruining your shots. But it feels like home.

During my last visit to Alberta, in 2018, the time frame to see the lake was very limited. There was so many tourists on that day, that my friend and I were forced to park miles away and first catch a shuttle to Moraine Lake.

Then, the bus that was supposed to bring us back to the parking lot to catch the other shuttle arrived 90 minutes late. By the time we had finally reached Lake Louise, it was already past 2 pm. The sun was right in our faces and the sky cloudy. The result? Terrible light.

Disappointment quickly gave way to the realization that I wouldn't be back for years. So I embraced the moment and managed to get decent shots.
