Former Secretary of Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) and former Member of Parliament Nandana Gunathilake said that leaders wearing branded clothes and boozing with labourers are trying to destroy the country.
Addressing a press conference held yesterday (08) in Colombo, he said that the JVP is trying to destabilise the country by putting the trade unions on the streets at a time the country is coming out of unprecedented challenges.
He said that he is well aware of the history, present and also can foresee the future of the JVP and urged the party not to destabilize the country.
