Namepros Introduces Custom Descriptions for Their Landers

Posted on the 30 August 2024 by Worldwide @thedomains

Namepros continues to listen to community feedback and add the features members are demanding. The launch of their own landers has been very well received. Custom descriptions has been requested since the beginning. Now they are here.

Introducing custom descriptions on NamePros Landers:

  • Set a short description that appears directly under the domain name, as the focal point.
  • Set an expanded (long) description that appears separately, below the short description.

Both descriptions support a variety of features to help customize and enhance the appearance of your landers:

  • Text formatting in HTML
  • Template variables (e.g., {domain})
  • Default description settings for all domains (account wide except where overridden)
  • Individual description settings for specific domains (override default settings)

These options, along with our new-and-improved design updates, help sellers present their domains in a clean and elegant way.
As an example, here’s one possibility for your domains:

  • Set a default short description that will appear on all of your domains, such as:
    • “Brought to you by one of the world’s most exclusive domain collections. We offer long-term financing and love to get creative!”
  • Set an individual expanded description on each domain name that describes its specific selling points, use cases, value proposition, etc.

Another possible configuration:

  • Set a default expanded description with generic information about the buying process (e.g., domain transfer steps), past sales of yours, customer testimonials, details about your company’s founding story, etc.
  • Set an individual short description on each domain name that includes 1-2 sentences about why its valuable, such as:
    • Short, Easy to spell, Unforgettable!
    • Memorable phrase, Popular in pop culture, Great brand name!

The short description and expanded description are both optional: set either, neither, or both.
We look forward to seeing your creativity!
