It's been months since I've worn false nails and even longer since I've had my nails done! I was in Primark a few weeks ago now and brought some of their false nails. They were only £1! BARGAIN!! They do all sorts of cute patterns but I opted for the classic manicure one. The set does come with glue but I was a bit unsure about using it, so I brought the trusted Elegant Touch Protective Nail Glue which was only £2.59 in Superdrug and in the 3 for 2 special offer they have on at the moment.
I used to ALWAYS buy the Elegant touch nail sets, I absolutely love them, but as money is a little bit tight at the moment I thought I would give the Primark ones a bash, why not?
I must say I'm really impressed! They don't look cheap and to be honest, you can't really tell a difference between the Elegant Touch nails. I should of used to the Primark glue really to give an honest review but I didn't want to take the risk of having my nails pop off after 5 minutes. I wanted to do my nails for the #vintsetfest event I went to on Wednesday so couldn't risk it really. I was in a bit of a rush when getting ready so I didn't really have time to prepare my nails properly, naughty me! Since Wednesday only 2 nails have come off since, which is a little bad really but as I said I didn't prepare my nails properly so I'm not really surprised.
I had this little beaut done on Wednesday by Nails By Rosie at VintSetFest.
Overall I am really impressed with these nails, and for £1 I am definitely going back to repurchase some more! They don't look cheap, the colouring on them is really natural and they're a great length. I have small nails and I usually have to file them down to size but with these I didn't do anything to them.I need a little more practice and should of given myself time to do them properly but I am so impressed with these!
