It's raining, it's pouring... I never understood that nursery rhyme; is it about a man who has a concussion and dies? Anyway my hair isn't happy, I couldn't wear a lot of my shoes, and I didn't want to get out of bed today. This is what I was able to wrangle together and this is all the photos my husband could get without us getting completely soaked.
How was your weekend? Saturday my husband was hired to photograph a wedding and went along as his assistant. He had two cameras, I had one to capture a different angle/effect and hand him batteries and such when needed. It was a gorgeous wedding at River Farm - the couple was lovely and they had a really elegant yet totally fun event. Yesterday was Father's Day - we didn't do much for it (other than me teaching Emerson how to yell "Happy Fathers Day Daddy!" and buy him a Misto which he has wanted for a long time). We headed to the farmers market and then the local cafe for brunch. Emerson went down for a nap and we watched Oscar and Lucinda, and then we made pork loin and collard greens for dinner. Pretty low-key but we wouldn't have wanted anything different!
