My Top Sale Finds

I do love Christmas but my god do I love the sales! Of course come Boxing Day I hit the sales, I had my clothes and bag laid out ready to go, kissed my fiancé on the forehead (who was oblivious to it) and headed out at 6.30am with the other ridiculous people too.

Spartoo BT London Nidil  Boots  - £84.34, River Island Dogtooth Blazer, ASOS River Island Boots - £30.00, Accessorize Cara Camera Bag - £14.50, Accessorize Imogen Flower Earrings -£7.00, ASOS River Island Floral Cigarette Trousers - £20.00
We went to a shopping center close to where I live called Fosse Park.  The queue for Next was just crazy... luckily I don't tend to do the Next sale as I've previously worked it when I was 16... people nearly trampled on me it was so surreal!
So I went to Boots first for the various reduced fragrances then onto Accessorize, River Island and M&S. We didn't stick around too long, in fact I grabbed a coffee then was home for 9am! I did the rest of my sale shopping online and gained cashback via Quidco for spending my pennies!
I kicked off on ASOS where I found those super cute River Island boots and floral cigarette trousers. Two items I didn't see in store and were no longer on the River Island website. The boots were £65.00 reduced to £30.00 and the trousers were £45.00 reduced to £20.00.  I did however pick up the dog tooth blazer in store which was £55.00 but had been reduced to £20.00.
The camera bag I know isn't my normal style but I saw it ages and ago and for some reason loved it! From £29.00 to £14.50.  Great for actually taking my camera around with me! I also picked up a selection of necklaces and earrings for bargain prices.
Last but not least some classic tan leather boots. I have some black vintage ones but don't have well made decent brown ones, these I found from Spartoo website where they have a wide range of amazing designer footwear for a fraction of the price.
I didn't go crazy this year but I feel I have bought items that I will use a lot and will work throughout seasons.  If you have been delayed on hitting the shops here are my Sales Tips...
  • Always go in early - even now hit the shopping centres when they open and leave before the crowds arrive, it definitely relieves shopping stress!
  • Research before hand
  • If you think you've left it too long to shop in the sales, always remember that people will return items, so that top you're looking for may have been returned
  • Check eBay if you're looking for a specific sold out item, but remember prices may have been pushed up on eBay

There you have it!  Hope you've all had a successful Sale Shopping adventure!
