My Thoughts on the Movie “Conclave”

By Lisaorchard @lisaorchard1

Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you. I’ve had a busy week of writing and working. Both are going well. I’ve just had a great idea on my next story, and I’m noodling that while I edit the sequel to the story, I just finished rewriting. All these ideas and not enough time to write. But enough about that. Today, I want to talk about a movie I went to see.

The title of the movie is “Conclave.” An interesting tale about the Catholic Church, and the process of selecting the next Pope. I’ve never had an inkling about this process, and I’ve never wondered about it. This movie is worth watching. It shows that men who have made their lives the church suffer from the same doubts and insecurities we do in our lives. One of the questions that haunt these men is “did I make the right choice?” We’ve all suffered with those doubts at one time or another.

It illustrates that even those men at the highest level of the church have secrets hidden, and skeletons in their closets. This is important. We all must remember our mistakes and failures pave our path just like everyone else’s, and the twist at the end will have you thinking. Check it out. It will definitely start a dialog among your peers.
