My New Favorite Cleanser, a Really Good Brow Serum, and a Few Other Good Things.

How was y'all's weekend? Good, I hope! As Sebastian gets older I'm trying to be more intentional about spending one on one time with him. This weekend we went on a "date" - first to the trampoline park (because it's way too hot to do any sort of outdoor activities right now), and then we went out to eat for an early dinner. We had such a good time, and I'm so happy that I was able to spend that quality time with him this weekend. I also learned that he loves french bread with butter, and Shirley Temple's - who would have thought?! He's so much fun and I love watching him explore and discover new things.

I wanted to share a few things I'm loving lately to kick the week off. First up is this Jelly Cleanser from Drunk Elephant. My skin had been breaking out way more than normal ever since coming back from Mexico. None of my usual products were working, and I honestly think I made it worse by constantly using masks and treatments on my skin. I was basically overusing them. I decided to stop using everything on my skin, and only use this gentle cleanser twice a day, along with a gentle mask a couple of times a week. It made such a HUGE difference. In about a week, my skin started looking a lot better, and the breakouts have drastically improved. I really just can't recommend it enough.

Another beauty product I'm in love with right now is this brow serum. I am very particular about my brows and who I let shape them. A makeup artist "cleaned up" my brows recently before doing my makeup and left them a little too thin, plus took some of the tails off?!, for my liking. I've been using this serum for a few weeks now to help promote growth, and I really feel like it's working lol. It's worth a try if you have sparse brows, or maybe a thin area that you're trying to grow back in.

We also NEED to talk about Cruel Summer. Omg, who's watched it?! I don't want to give it away if you haven't watched it, but if you're looking for something to binge, head to Hulu NOW and start watching. The premise is about 2 teenaged girls - one gets kidnapped and after she's rescued accuses the other girl of seeing her in her kidnappers house while she was being held captive there, and saying nothing - and things get wild from there. The ending had me SHOOK do you hear me?! My mind is still blown lol.

I've also been watching Manifest on Netflix - along with everyone else in America it seems haha. But it is pretty good. I am slightly upset that I've gotten into this show and it just got cancelled after its third season - sigh. However, I'm too invested now to quit watching, even though I know I won't get any answers when I get to the end of season 3. I'm mentally preparing myself for that now lol.

Who else was obsessed with R.L. Stine's Fear Street books when they were younger? Netflix is adapting the books into a 3 part movie series, the first of which will be available to stream this weekend. I am SO excited about this, it honestly might be the highlight of my summer y'all lol. If you knew me as a middle schooler and teenager, then you know that the Babysitter's Club books and anything by R.L. Stine was my sh*t. IYKYK. I'll be tuned in for part 1 with bells on this weekend!
