I'm finally back, you know what us bloggers are like for an odd blogging hiatus but I'm back and with an over-flowing notebook of fab 'blogable' products and pictures for you all!
I've decided to share with you my 'go to colours' for my talons this Christmas season, (it's post Halloween, we are allowed to say it's technically Christmas, right?)
For me, topping up your nail color to a fab festive color is the perfect way to ease yourself into Christmas mode without pulling out the Christmas jumper and Santa hat!
First up is OPI with a nice rich purple shade 'Push & Pur-Pull' (I'm a sucker for nail polish names seriously, who ever gets to chose them has the best job in the world!) This shade proves you don't have to be typical when choosing your Christmas nails and any deep rich color can have you feeling suitably festive!
Next up is the shade S340 by Hairspray which is a beautiful glossy red shade that will have Santa himself jealous of your glowing talons! This is the perfect choice for those of us who feel it isn't Christmas unless you are donning at least something bright red and best of all, one coat and your good to go.
There's something about gold which always reminds me of Christmas and this Gold Coin shade from Revlon is perfect. This is one of the few gold polishes I have which actually isn't a sparkly top coat, this is a stand alone gold paint which looks great paired on the ring finger as an accent color.
w7 are great for cheap and cheerful nail polishes and this silver glitter over coat in the color Silver Dazzle is no different. Lets face it, if you can't get away with being covered in glitter without being judged at Christmas then you never can!
Every year I treat myself to an OPI polish from their Christmas collection and this year I have a feeling I will be stocking up on a lot more than just one as there collection is better than ever! This time round I have bought ' Just BeClause', now if that name alone doesn't get you humming Christmas carols nothing will! This deep plum color compliments all skin tones and is a perfect elegant festive shade.
Finally the most gorgeous green shade that always reminds me of the film Elf! This unfortunately has no name or shade number but it is by Colour Club polishes and is perfect for those who aren't afraid of a bit of color this season!
And that's it for now! I'll be back very soon with no doubt copious more Christmas related posts!
