My Festival Essentials for 2016 // Fashion

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean

Lucky enough to be heading off to a festival this year? Not sure what to pack? Let me help you with my top festival essentials for 2016!
Packing for a festival is the only time 'what to take' list includes both our wellies and our suncream, our rain coats and our playsuits. It  truly is a compact and practical packing skills test, with planning outfits to comply with the hit and miss British summer weather conditions, and to be honest, looking on point trend wise - obviously! So here are a few of my festival essentials this year.
// Festival Essentials
Rain Coat // This is a MUST! I swore by mine at Glastonbury last year. Even if you're lucky enough not to need it, I'd always suggest to taking one than risking it. Instead of boring ones you can get some amazing ones like the one above from Toyshop.
Playsuit // It's just such an easy option although trips to the necessities could be a challenge, however this option if in a denim fabric could be used on multiple days but accessorised differently.
Kimono //At a festival layering is everything. This is a rather light option but grabbing your denim jacket, or one of this seasons bombers can be a fabulous touch to a look.The one above is the River Island White Print Festival Kimono. Gorgeous right?
Wellies // If it rains or not it is often too horrible to always wear sandals at a festival. Wellies are my most fave festival accessory real, and if it does rain then your feet will be happy out of the sloppy mud!
Trainers // Personally I'd pack something like these Vans over sandals for a festival. Sandals are too much of a hazard in mud and dodgy surfaces. At least with something like this I can cover distance without wrecking my feet... make them fun with these Disney ones by Vans.
Backpack // I would of taken a cross over bag with me but if I'm out all day during the festival, I prefer a proper backpack with my things in. I can keep valuables safe, keep a blanket in it for later and also any food for the day... or things to save me from the weather! The one above is part of the Vans Disney collaboration (which I adore), and this is on the list because I love the Jungle Book.
Hair Chalk // I adore hair chalk. I can change my hair color whenever I fancy and it doesn't matter as it will wash out. Go big with maybe unicorn and mermaid inspired locks for your next festival! Even though I havet tried it, this pack from L'Oreal has had some fab reviews .
Baby Wipes // You will always need these. Enough said.
Shorts // Personally I like to have at least one pair of shorts, even if it's not overly warm as long as my upper body is warm the bottom half will be fine. As I am loving palm print, these ones from Topshop were my top musts.
Travel Mug // I love a travel mug at the best of times, but at a festival they are amazing! In the morning when I went to get my coffee I'd just use my reusable mug.
Make Up // I spied this on a press release the other day and I am in love. At a festival you can be bold and you can take risks with your make up. I am in love with this Sephora Disney Minnie Eyeshadow Palette after spying it on the Sephora website during a cheeky splurge.
Flower Crown // YES! Love a flower crown at a festival. You can be quite expressive with your headwear at a festival, so perhaps pick up a few different colours or maybe even try something likeminnie mouse ears! The one in the picture is from Oreila Jewellery based in London.
There you have my festival essentials and hopefully you've found out some helpful bits. Off to any festivals? Anything you think you'd have to take with you?
