It was truly a great experience to visit Dubai in January 2023 and witness the Dubai Shopping Festival! I found some good deals on brands and enjoyed beauty shopping as I got to see many international brands. I was over the moon when I saw a brand named after my name – Jennifer.
When in Dubai, shopping is a must! The city is renowned for its luxury shopping. But as I was on a budget trip, I splurge on the most affordable products only.
After visiting some of Dubai’s malls, the next stop was a few of the city’s superstores. I absolutely loved exploring Dubai’s huge supermarkets! From souvenirs to beauty products, you can find anything and everything at a reasonable rate.
I was spoilt for choice with the amazing skincare, haircare, and makeup products available. I miss those times and Dubai supermarkets will always be one of my reasons to again visit the Emirate.
Here’s what I got in the beauty sections: Dubai beauty haul
1. Nivea Crème

Nivea is a product that takes me down memory lane. It reminds me of my uncle, who used to get it for us from Arabs. That’s why I purchased it from the supermarket. It’s a nostalgic product that I enjoy using.
Plus I liked this beautiful Arabian vibes packaging, so I picked up two packs – one for me and one for my mother.
Deal Price: 6AED
2. Pax Moly Cleopatra Charcoal Blackhead Pack
I can’t believe I almost missed this amazing deal! I found this Korean skincare product at the Hema Amsterdam store in Ibn Battuta mall and to my surprise, they were offering it at half price!
Although the expiry date was this year, I couldn’t take the risk and thought I’d better not buy it. But then I realized, this was a great opportunity and I can always share this product with my sister and husband. And all of us can easily finish it off before the due date.
My skincare shopping in Dubai was fantastic.
So, before leaving the mall, I sent my sister back to Hema Amsterdam and she bought it for me.
After using it for some time, I can say it actually does what it claims. My skin feels clean & smooth and it has removed my blackheads & whiteheads.
Deal Price: 12 AED
3. Farm Skin Fresh food for skin- Micellar cleansing water
I purchased another Korean skincare product from the Brands for Less store at Ibn Battuta Mall at a very low price, just 3 AED.
The makeup shopping in Dubai was fun.

It removes makeup easily and has a refreshing, soothing effect. I have oily skin and I use it often to minimize sebum production.
Deal price: 3AED
4. Beauty Clinic Hot Oil Hair Mask
I bought this UAE-made hair care product from the local supermarket for a fraction of the price.
It claims to do wonders for hair moisture and leave my locks silky and soft. My beauty shopping was going great.
I can’t wait to use it once my current hair mask is finished – I’m sure it’s going to be great.
Deal Price: 7AED
5. Lady Diana Gold Face Mask
Made in Thailand, this face mask claims to make your skin feel softer, smoother, and brighter, removes blackheads and whiteheads, and helps with aging and whitening.
It was on sale too, so I just had to grab it.
Deal Price: 6 AED
6. Cosmo Hair Naturals Olive oil conditioner
I’ve been using this conditioner for a while now and it’s okay. The good thing about it is that it’s free of sulfates and parabens – which is great for my hair.
But I don’t get that same softness I’m used to getting from other conditioners with chemicals.
Deal Price: 12 AED
7. Cool & Cool Mix Berry Body splash
This body mist was having an amazing offer in Ibn Battuta mall, so we both- me & my sister picked it up.
Deal Price: 5 AED
8. Amalfi Shampoo with Keratin
I bought this Made in Spain, Amalfi shampoo with Keratin at a Dubal local supermarket that helps to strengthen and nourish hair.
I’m so glad that I got it on sale, otherwise, it would have been a bit too expensive for me. My sister and I wanted to buy two of these but we weren’t sure if it would suit our hair, so we picked only one and decided to share it.
Deal Price: 10.5 AED
So, that’s the end of my haul from Dubai! Shopping for beauty products in the city can be a wonderful experience.
With unbeatable prices, a huge selection of products, and great store discounts, Dubai really is the perfect place to buy beauty products on a budget.
Thank you for joining me on this beauty shopping journey in Dubai. I hope you enjoyed it and were able to get some ideas for your own haul.
Now next time you visit Dubai, don’t forget to visit supermarkets along with malls.
