Well, I don't see why I shouldn't pontificate if that 'A1 crasher' in the White House can bore us all to tears with his rambling, hesitant waffle why shouldn't I? Incidentally, I can't help wondering if he had kept that bust of Churchill instead of tossing it in the nearest wastepaper basket whether he would have become a better orator? Somehow I doubt it judging by his tedious, halting delivery the other night in which he attempted to drop his normal lofty, chin-in-the-air, look-down-the-nose attitude and tried to become all 'homely' by spicing his tendentious nonsense with some outright 'porkies' about how he had been picked on in his youth because he was black. Before I begin allow me to stress that I am only addressing a minority of American blacks because, of course, the majority need no advice from me, or from Obama come to that, because they are much too busy earning a crust and living their lives to the best of their ability.
However, to the minority of American blacks, first let me say this - get over yourselves! Yes, your history has been been bad but nowhere near as bad as others - ask your local Rabbi! The fact is that hundreds of thousands of mostly white men went into a ferocious war with their fellow mostly white compatriots in order to free you. And yes again, slavery apart, matters did not improve very far or very fast and roughly a hundred years later you and your black leaders, with some considerable help from whites, finally gained full democratic liberty. The fact that you can now enjoy this democratic liberty puts you in a very privileged minority of the world's population most of whom could tell you a thing or two about slavery.
My second bit of advice is that you remove your thumbs from your bums and engage your brains. The very fact that you pay any attention to the likes of Al Capone Sharpton and/or Jesse James Jackson instead of pelting them with rubbish and shouting, "Show us your willies" or some such, is an indication that you are all near terminally thick. Wake up and look around you! The various poltroons who seek your favours by ensuring a steady drip-feed of handouts look upon you as a bunch of mongrel dogs, easily kept barking by their occasional 'favours' to you. Their wealth and privilege, as they cream off the Federal and State bounty, absolutely depends on your continued poverty and stupidity.
My third piece of (unwanted and unwelcome) advice is to open your eyes and take a look around. Your future is happening now! You do not need to guess what the future holds it is already on view - in Detroit. In fifty years of administration by the sort of people who told you that they, and only they, had your best interests at heart they have succeeded in reducing a once thriving city into an empty rust-bucket the ruins of which are now only inhabited by, er, well, you, actually! Remember that old American saying about never giving a sucker an even break? Meanwhile, if you think Detroit was a one off, keep your eyes on places like New York, Cincinnati, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia, and Newark - and keep half an eye on Chicago. Most of these cities have 'enjoyed' Democrat political control for decades. You know Democrats, those 'nice' people who always promise you more and more as you get poorer and poorer and conditions in your city get worse.
Finally, the Zimmerman trial. Only one, American, compound word can stand as my advice to you - fageddaboutit! It was a straightforward case of a fracas going wrong and ending in the death of a young man - and it matters not a fig if he was white, black or polka dot, it was a personal tragedy but one which is repeated endlessly on American streets. The cops who undertook the first investigation quickly came to the conclusion that there was no case to answer but once the political demagogues who have been leading you by your silly noses got their hands on it then the equivalent of lynch mob hysteria took over. The Republican authorities handed the shit sandwich to the very worst sort of Left-wing prosecutor who was too thick to smell the contents and thus swallowed it whole. Now she looks rather sick, poor girl! Attorney-General Holden is, I think, too smart to attempt to bring down race charges against Zimmerman which is why he and Obama are harrumphing about 'stand your ground' law which the Zimmerman team very wisely never offered up as a defence because it was totally irrelevant.
I am delighted that the reported turnouts for the various rallies set up by the demagogues who leech off you proved to be rather small which indicates that most of you took my advice - although how you managed to do so without actually reading it here first I do not know! Anyway, well done and jolly good show.
