#music Taylor Swift Set to Announce Something

It has been almost two years since Taylor Swift released her flawless fourth album Red. I love that album, I have played it to death, probably my favorite pop for years. It took Taylor from country star to pop mega star as it is jam packed with hits but it covers a lot of ground, it is so much more than just another pop record and Taylor isn't just another pop star. She is in control, writes her own stuff, plays instruments, comes across down to earth whilst being able to put on an incredible show, the Red tour was pure entertainment but what next for the Nashville beau?

Well, since the Red tour concluded a few months ago Taylor has been snapped on a daily basis visiting the gym in New York, always looking immaculate and as campaigns go the run up to her fifth album couldn't be better orchestrated. Her debut as an actress hit the big screens yesterday as she played a small role in The Giver which gave her an excuse for a bit of promotion. This week she appeared on The Late Show and The Tonight Show where she confirmed she'd be performing at the VMAs next week which we can only presume she'll be airing her first new single, rumoured to be called Shake It Off. On Monday she will be hosting a Yahoo LiveStream where, when Jimmy Fallon pressed her on The Tonight Show she'll be announcing a few things, I am guessing will include the first play off the new single, details on the forthcoming album which could be out by September although I wouldn't be surprised if she drops it on Monday too. It is exciting times for my favorite pop star!

I just don't know how she can follow up Red? No doubt it'll be another belter, she rarely disappoints.
