As 'alt-pop stars' go Grimes is pretty much perfect but the Canadian returns to a time in music where off-centre pop is al the rage, even the wettest artists are embracing it. Oblivion is a hugely overlooked tune and the long wait for new material from Grimes is over.


Go isn't exactly 'new'. The song first appeared as it had been written for Rihanna but she wasn't keen so Grimes kept it for herself, a wise move. This could shoot the oddball in to household name status, well, if she wants it to!
