Wanda Le Fey had been murdered but her blue ghost was haunting The Renaissance Fair/ Adventureland and Lady Jessie specifically. If that wasn't unnerving enough, Jessie has found she is stuck with an outlandish wedding ceremony that has gotten out of control. She never intended for her and Chase to marry with over two hundred other couples. As the day approaches, Jessie is becoming more and more uneasy about the ceremony. Her thoughts about the wedding are interrupted when another murder takes place. When Jessie's assistant, Manny becomes the prime suspect, Jessie sets out to find the real killer. This is not an easy task due to her visiting future in laws, wedding preparations, and looking for a scorcerer to help remove Wanda from her life.
Will Jessie and Chase make it to the alter? Or will Jessie find she is in over her head and become the murderers next target?

This is the sixth book in The Renaissance Mystery series written by husband and wife team, Jim and Joyce Levane. Although a part of a series, it is not absolutely necessary to have read the first 5 books before reading this one. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the renaissance fair and the clothes they wore, the parts they played, and the off beat characters.
As is often the case for me when reading cozy mysteries, the focus tends to shift off the mystery onto more personal areas with the characters. This book was no exception. At times I was sure I was reading Chick lit instead of mystery. But, that' s really my only complaint. Otherwise this is a great group of characters and the scenery is certainly unique and colorful, giving your imagination plenty to chew on.
I would also like to compliment the book cover. It is very eye catching with a lot of details.
I give this one a B.
