Muncie Girls – ‘Picture of Health’ Video Stream

Posted on the 14 June 2018 by Spectralnights

Muncie Girls have made a welcome return with ‘Picture of Health’; a 3-and-a-half-minute song about being so preoccupied with other people’s state of mental health that you forget about your own well-being. Lande Hekt opens the song singing about ‘Seven days of fucked-up dreams’ before further elaborating that ‘I’ve been having a hard time lately looking after myself’ and then finally delivering the pleas ‘I was thinking maybe you could look after me’ and ‘Just for a while ’til I’m back on my feet’ amidst a flutty of Replacements-style hooks.

‘Picture of Health’ will appear on their upcoming second album ‘Fixed Ideals’, which will be released on 31 August via Specialist Subject Records in the UK and Europe, Buzz Records in North America and Lost Boy Records in Australia.
