It’s not a stretch to say that we love (really love) Alt-J (@alt_j) around these parts. I love the band so much that any association with them will make things I was previous luke-warm on suddenly awesome. Take Mumford & Sons (@mumfordofficial), the extremely successful and extremely ubiquitous band, whose surprisingly great cover of “Tesselate” gave me a whole new feel for the folk-rock outfit. It’s a straight up cover, but never lacks for interest. The capture the unique lackadaisicalness of the song, while simultaneously adding something all their own… namely, a banjo.
